In honor of the 95th Annual event, the Greeley Stampede is bringing back several community favorites such as the Window Decorating Contest. The Window Decorating Contest is a fun way for local businesses to show Stampede pride and create some community buzz about the historical event.
All Greeley or Evans area businesses are invited to participate in the contest. The contest is free to enter, and all participating business will receive a social media shout out from the Greeley Stampede and will be listed on the Greeley Stampede website as a decorated location. The contest theme is the “Best Portrayal of the 95th Annual Greeley Stampede.” The decorations will be judged based on originality, representation of the theme, and overall presentation. The business that wins first place will receive a deluxe concert experience for eight including entry in our Daily Parade in the Park. Second place earns an exclusive rodeo evening for eight, and the winner of third place will receive free admission and parking at the Greeley Stampede for eight.
“I cannot wait to see the town all decorated in Greeley Stampede flare,” says Greeley Stampede Promotions Coordinator, Katie Geist. “What better way to celebrate the arrival of the 95th Annual Greeley Stampede than seeing our community’s businesses decked out in western, patriotic fashion?”
Contest entries must be received by Friday, June 10th. Judging will occur June 13th through 15th, and the contest winners will be announced at the Greeley Stampede Kick-off Concert at Friday Fest on Friday, June 17th beginning at 6pm. ABOUT THE GREELEY STAMPEDE: The Greeley Stampede, a 501(c)4 nonprofit corporation, is Colorado’s premiere summer western celebration. This longstanding event has grown in diversity and popularity since its inception and has provided music and rodeo entertainment to hundreds of thousands of people every summer.
