GREELEY STAMPEDE KIDS RODEO APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE APRIL 1ST!
March 28, 2014 (GREELEY, CO) Kids Rodeo Applications will be available online at GreeleyStampede.org and at the Stampede offices starting April 1. The Stampede Offices are located at 600 N. 14th Ave, Greeley, CO.
For children that dream of being a rodeo competitor, the Greeley Stampede Kids Rodeo is a dream come true. During the Kids Rodeo kids up to 19 get to compete just like the professionals. It’s meant to be fun for everyone, but also a chance for competitors to shine.
The Kids Rodeo has events for kids as young as three years old, up to horse and bull riding for 19-year-old seniors. The younger kids can compete in Recreational Mutton Busting, Goat Tail Pull and Stick Pony Race. For the older kids events include Boot Scramble and Goat Tail Tying. The "speed" activities closely resemble adult events. The "speed" events include Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Flag Race, Keyhole Race, and Goat Tie-down.
Competitive events include Mutton Busting and progresses from calves through steers, young bulls, and bucking bulls. What category a competitor is in depends on their age. As with all events participant’s safety is a primary consideration.
Get Western and go to GreeleyStampede.org starting April 1 to register your child for the Kids Rodeo. Box office is open 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
