PRCA Pro Rodeo Update – Military Appreciation Night

Tonight we honored our nation’s veterans and military during the fifth rodeo at the Stampede presented by Burris Optics. The night began with a precise parachute jump into the arena by Mike Elliot of the All Veterans Group. Free admission into the park and rodeo was given to service members with a military ID, military dependent ID or arrived in uniform.

As part of the Rodeos for a Cause Series, a portion of regularly priced tickets from the rodeo will benefit the Northern Colorado Honor Flight as well as a portion of sales from the limited edition Military Appreciation Night t-shirts that were available.

Listed as a Top-25 Pro Rodeo according to purse size, the Stampede is famous for having a topnotch performance. The Greeley Stampede Rodeo features eight exciting events during every performance: Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing, Mutton Bustin, and Bull Riding.
