NATIONAL ANTHEM CONTEST ENTRIES NOW OPEN

For the 4^th consecutive year, the Greeley Stampede is holding a contest to select singers from our community for a chance to sing “The Star Spangled Banner” at the start of a ticketed, arena event. Entries for the Greeley Stampede National Anthem Contest are now open!

From the video submissions, ten talented finalists will be chosen. From the finalists, five lucky singers will have the honor of singing the National Anthem to kick-off one of the Greeley Stampede’s PRCA Pro Rodeos or at the Demolition Derby on the 4^th of July. Rodeos that will feature contest winners are June 27^th, June 28^th, June 30^th, and July 1^st.

To enter, submit a video of you or your group of 5 people or less singing “The Star Spangled Banner” online at www.greeleystampede.org/p/nationalanthem. Winners will be selected online via public voting. The five audition videos with the most votes will be invited to sing at one of the events. During the voting period, visit www.greeleystampede.org/p/nationalanthem to vote.

“The National Anthem Contest is a great way for our community to be involved in the event,” said Promotions Coordinator, Katie Clinebell. “The local talent that has performed the last few years has truly blown us away!”

ABOUT THE GREELEY STAMPEDE: The Greeley Stampede, a 501(c)4 nonprofit corporation, is the Colorado’s premiere summer western celebration. This longstanding event has grown in diversity and popularity since its inception and has provided music and rodeo entertainment to hundreds of thousands of people every summer. The Stampede was inducted in the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2014 and the event was named 2015 Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) Mountain States Large Rodeo of the Year.
