RECORD BREAKING DONATION FROM STAMPEDE
As part of the Greeley Stampede’s mission, supporting and strengthening the community is a top priority. A big portion of that commitment is supporting education. The Greeley Stampede is proud to donate $94,779 to the Stampede Foundation to assist local students with their education. This is a record breaking donation from the Greeley Stampede.
“We are a community event, so it is very important to be a part of the community that supports us,” said Greeley Stampede General Manager, Justin Watada. “We wouldn’t have been able to do this without the community, our volunteers and everyone who attended the Big Buckle Ball, the golf tournament and Western Art Show.”
The Greeley Stampede Foundation was formed in 1994 as a 501c3 non-profit organization with the purpose of supporting education for students in Northern Colorado. Since then, the Foundation has awarded more than $386,000 in scholarships to 584 Northern Colorado students.
Applications for 2018 scholarships are now available. To apply for the scholarship, visit www.greeleystampede.org/p/scholarship. Applications are due February 16, 2018. Each awarded graduating high school senior scholarship recipient will be given $2,500 to continue their education.
