This year’s theme is “Celebrating Our Nation’s Independence” — an inspiring call to honor our country with creativity and pride. It’s time to build an award-winning parade entry that will wow the crowd and judges alike!
Bring Back the Traditional Parade Float!
Step back in time and embrace the nostalgia of traditional parade floats!
The Greeley Stampede Independence Day Parade invites all participants to unleash their creativity and craftsmanship. Using classic materials like chicken wire, paper mâché, tissue paper, and your unique personal flair, let’s revive the artistry and grandeur of the traditional parade float.
Award Categories:
The Greeley Stampede will recognize exceptional entries with awards in the following categories:
• Best Overall Float
• Best Marching Band
• Most Patriotic
• UNC Community Fan Pick Award
Special Prizes:
• Ebba Mae Granat Memorial Parade Fund: The best marching band or 4H youth entry will receive a generous $1,000 donation to honor their dedication and talent.

Entry Fees
February 3rd to March 27th is $80
March 28th entry fees go up to $100
Any entries after June 1st will need to be directly approved by the Parades Chairman, Stephen Walker, if approved, the entry fee will be $125.
The standard entry length has a maximum length of 80 feet with additional space costing $20 per every additional 10’ and a maximum of 160’.
