Freestyle Bull Fighting has always been a crowd favorite at rodeos and special events. In the last decade the focus has been on the bull riders and the bulls with the unsung heroes going without events that will showcase their “tools of the trade” and unmatched skills. This is truly man against beast, with our modern-day gladiators risking everything in a ninety second match.

Cowboy Mounted Shooting is the fastest growing equestrian sport in the nation and an exciting addition to the American Bull Fighting event. Contestants compete in this fast action timed event using two .45 caliber single action revolvers, that must be cocked each time before firing by drawing the hammer back. Each revolver is loaded with five rounds of specially prepared blank ammunition which have no projectile and therefore is completely safe for spectators to watch. Contestants must dress in traditional western style or old-time style of the late 1800’s. Any horse or mule is allowed to compete in this sport. There are over fifty possible patterns included, and a random draw determines which patterns will be used for the competition. There are a variety of levels of competition for everyone, ranging from novice levels to the seasoned professional. It is a true family sport as even the little ones can compete as wranglers, who do not shoot, but learn the horsemanship and safety regulations to grow into shooting contestants.
