Committee

The Greeley Stampede is a community organization that is powered by volunteers. The annual community event is led by the Committee who each oversee a specific event area. The Committee is comprised of 9-11 community leaders that serve a 3-year term with the option to renew. They also serve as event ambassadors while representing the Stampede at various events & functions throughout the year. The Committee works closely with the professional staff and are guided by the Board of Directors to produce Colorado’s premier summer western celebration.

Ranch Hands

Potential Committee members are elected as part of the Ranch Hand Shadow program. The Committee annually identifies community members to interview to gauge their fit with the event and the current Committee. Elected Ranch Hands serve a one (1) year term to learn more about the Greeley Stampede, event policies and procedures, specific event area(s) and their potential fit within the Stampede family. Ranch Hand positions are voluntary, nonpaid and non-voting positions. After the conclusion of the shadow year, Ranch Hands may be elected to become Committee members for the following year.
