To celebrate our nation's independence, preserve our western heritage, and strengthen our community.
The Greeley Stampede, a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization, hosts an annual summer celebration focused on affordable entertainment that brings the community together with rodeos, concerts, and family fun! The event offers something for everyone, featuring a diverse schedule of activities including top ranked PRCA ProRodeos, kids’ entertainment, Heritage of Mexico rodeo, three music stages, parades, carnival rides, demolition derby, craft beer lounge, special events, shopping, festival food and more. The 10+ day celebration culminates on the 4th of July starting the day with Colorado’s largest Independence Day parade then ending the night with a spectacular fireworks show. We invite you to join us at the Greeley Stampede to experience our western heritage, celebrate our independence, and support our community!
In addition to offering a wide array of entertainment, the Greeley Stampede is committed to strengthening our community through both our time and financial contributions. Each year, the Greeley Stampede donates over $200,000 to the community including volunteer groups and organizations that help with the event, High Plains Honor Flight, NCMC Mammography Fund, Greeley Stampede Foundation scholarship fund, and more. You’ll also find the Greeley Stampede team actively volunteering and supporting various community initiatives.

The Board of Directors are responsible for the overall
direction of the organization. The elected volunteer community members will
oversee key economic decisions, set the annual budget, lead major capital
projects, monitor expenses throughout the year and carry out the organization’s
Code of Conduct. The Board delegates the responsibility of day-to-day
operations to the Chief Executive Officer and empowers the Committee &
Staff to produce the annual Stampede and special events.
