Over the past 100 years, there have been many people that have made a valuable contribution to the success of the Greeley Stampede. Simply the act of so many people giving of their time and resources has made the event what it is today. Many of these people have been recognized with buckles, rings, plaques and other recognition. The Hall of Fame is an effort to identify and recognize those few individuals and families that as a result of their extraordinary support became synonymous with the Stampede itself.
Established in 2017, the Hall of Fame honors individuals, families, and organizations whose significant and lasting contributions have shaped the success, legacy, and prestige of the iconic community celebration. To date, 20 honorees have been inducted, including the 2025 class of Bill Hall, Jerry Pickett and the Norcross Family.
“Over the past 100 years, countless people have played a vital role in building the Greeley Stampede,” said Justin Watada, Greeley Stampede CEO and Hall of Fame steering committee chairman. “Many have been recognized in various ways throughout the years, but the Hall of Fame allows us to highlight those individuals and families whose extraordinary support has made them truly synonymous with the Stampede.”
The Greeley Stampede is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Hall of Fame class. Individuals, groups, or families with a demonstrated history of supporting and advancing the Greeley Stampede are eligible for nomination.
